London — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds announced the birth of a baby boy Wednesday morning, just days after Johnson returned to work after recovering from the new coronavirus disease. In February, Symonds announced the couple was expecting a child in “early summer” and that they had become engaged last year. Johnson and Wheeler have four children together.The prime minister had previously said that he intended to take paternity leave after the birth of his son, but later on Wednesday CBS News partner network BBC News reported that he was back at Downing Street and would not be going on leave for the time being.The baby boy is the third child to be born to a serving U.K.
